OSCAR MARIO PE'A SR

AUGUST 27TH 1940 - MARCH 6TH 2015

Oscar (Mario) 74 of Oakdale passed away Friday afternoon March 6th at Memorial Medical Center. Mario was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.

He was born August 27th 1940 in Dr. Coss Mexico, to the late Solomon and Trinidad Pea. Mario came to the United States at the age of 8 to begin his American dream. Mario married the love is his life Graciela Suarez January 1966, they both built a wonderful life and were blessed with four children, Oscar Pea (Nicole), Noe Pea (Heather), Melissa Pea Flores (Roy), and Miguel Pea (Traci). They were then blessed with ten grandchildren, Rylie Pea, Alex Pea, Owen Pea, Lucas Flores, Marina Flores, Ashton Pea, Zachery Pea, Christopher Pea, Anthony Pea, Angelo Pea.

Mario started and finished his 47 year career with ConAgra Foods in Oakdale (formerly Hunt Wesson Foods) where he was known by every member at the plant as a caring and giving man. Mario spent his years in retirement enjoying all of his grandchildren's sporting events, working on his ranch, and traveling to Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, the Bahamas, and Texas for half the year to spend time with his brothers hunting and fishing. Mario had a special interest in cars, going to yard and antique sales, playing slot machines, and restoring the homes he acquired over the years. Mario became an American Citizen in 1980. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

He is preceded in passing by his parents Solomon and Trinidad Pea, his Sister Ramonsita Pea, and Brother Miguel Pea. Mario is survived by his wife Graciela Pea, four children, ten grandchildren, brothers Ernesto Pea of Oakdale, Juan Pea and Jose Pea of Texas, sisters Sylvia Pea of Texas, Bertha Martinez of Hollister, and many nephews and nieces.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday March 12th, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, the Rosary will begin immediately after the viewing 6:00pm at Oakdale Memorial Chapel 830 West F Street, Oakdale Ca. The Mass Service will be Friday March 13th at Saint Mary's Catholic Church 89 North Oak Avenue, 9:00am in Oakdale. Flowers may be sent in remembrance to Oakdale Memorial Chapel
