Marjorie (Gentry) Mercer passed away Wednesday March 12, 2025, peacefully at home. She was the daughter of Kenneth Gentry and Verna (Gosnell) Gentry. She was born in Camp Creek(Greenville), TN. She joined the Air Force and was stationed at Scotts Field Air Force base in Belleville, IL. Margie worked at Contadina in Riverbank and Haig Berberian's in Modesto.

Margie married Kenneth Mercer and had 6 children. Trina, Tim, Tammy, Terry, Twana, & Traci. Marge lived with her significant other Mario Lopez, who she had been with for 47 years and Shane, her grandson and "special" helper. They enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family.

Marge was survived by Mario Lopez, her children Trina (Michael) Adkins,Terry (Terese) Mercer, & Traci (Brad) Venture. She was also survived by 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Timothy Mercer, daugher's Tammy Mercer & Twana Ellis, grandson Korey Suttles, parents Kenneth and Verna Gentry, brother Gene, and sisters Hazel and Joyce.

"Nana" will be missed. A celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Rest in peace Mom.
